Mews Matriculation School is managed by the Muslim Educational & Welfare Society which was formed in 1969 to help the poor muslim students getting high standard of Primary School Education. This school was started in the year 2000 with the students strength of above 100 from LKG to 5th Standard.The total area of the Land for the school is 2.74 acres and the built up area is about 7766 Sq.ft. with two floors. It has got the Govt. permission to start the matriculation school as per letter No.L.Dis.No.6099/E2/2002 dated 8.8.2002 by the Director of Matriculation schools, Chennai - 6. Now this school is having up to 9th standard and students strength, about 250, and is going to increase the classes up to higher secondary.

The school is having 12 qualified teachers and 7 other graduate teachers and office staff. The following fully equipped labs and other infra-structures are available to improve the standard of education.
